How does a staff user register?
After the staff user has been created on ParentMail , you will be taken to the profile of the staff user where you can click Actions > Send Email/SMS Registration (depending on the details that you have added).
A registration link will be sent to the staff user within a couple of minutes. If they have not received this email, please ensure they have checked Junk/Spam folders and searched for firstname.lastname@example.org to find the email.
The system will recognise if they have registered previously, if they have not registered the email will be displayed with the subject as *School name here* has added you to ParentMail with a Register button:
If they have previously registered for ParentMail, the subject will be displayed as You have an invitation to connect, with a Manage Your Connections button:
As a new user, the staff user will need to select ‘I don’t have a ParentMail PMX account’. To confirm, if they are new to ParentMail and have never created an account previously, they will need to select this option.
After selecting the option, they will be asked to click Proceed and then Verify Details.
Here they will check the details are correct and create a password. The password will be required to be at least 8 characters in length, including numbers and letters.
They will also need to accept the Terms and Conditions by ticking the box before they can register. If they do not tick this, they will receive an error:

After this, click Complete Registration and then Let’s Go! to be taken into their account.
Managing their connections:
As an existing user, they will need to select ‘I already have a ParentMail PMX account’. To confirm, if they have previously registered to ParentMail, they will need to select this option.
After selecting the option, they will be asked to click Proceed and to login.
To login, enter in existing login details and click Let’s Go!
If they cannot remember your password, click ‘Forgot your password’. The system will send them an automatic email for them to reset your password. The password will be required to be at least 8 characters in length, including numbers and letters.
