How to - Allow a parent to report an absence through ParentMail

Before your parents can report absences via the app or online portal you will need to enable this feature within your ParentMail account.

  1. Navigate to Settings > General in the left-hand menu, here you will find a list of settings.
  2. Select Enable Online Absence Reporting.
  3. To allow parents to report student absences through ParentMail click Enable.

Troubleshooting: If you are unable to locate Settings you are missing the permission to Manage Settings. Your main ParentMail Administrator manages system permissions.
