Can ParentMail remove an attachment for me?

We are more than happy to remove an attachment from our database for you. If an email includes an incorrect attachment, our new process means parents won’t be able to open an attachment through their own mailbox if it has been removed.

Please be aware that we will not be able to remove any attachments that parents have already downloaded. It is vital that you come through to us as soon as possible to request removal.

Please come onto live chat or email us with the subject of: Remove Attachment from Email with the following details:

  • Subject of Email
  • Name of Attachment
  • Date and Time of the email sent
  • Reason of removal


Once we receive the request, your attachment will be removed with urgency and you will receive confirmation of this in writing. Please note that ParentMail’s hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, so when sending emails out of hours there may be a longer time delay in getting the request completed. Please be extra vigilant when sending emails out of hours to avoid disappointment – ultimately it is the responsibility of the user to ensure the attachment is correct before being sent.
