Why has a parent not received an email/SMS asking them to register for ParentMail?

Troubleshooting

Email registration

Please check the following:

  • Is the parent record showing in Users > List? - If not, please check your Rejected records Report to find why the user has not been imported.
  • Has a valid email been added to the account? - Please check the parent record in Users > List – Confirm with the parent if their email address is correct. Click here for help editing parent details in ParentMail.
  • Check that the parent hasn’t added us to their junk/spam filter – The verification link may have been delivered to their Junk/Spam folder. Please ask the parents to check this folder and make sure that info@parentmail.co.uk is added to their address book. You can then resend the email verification out again, via ‘Users’ then ‘List’. Type the parents name in the search bar and click Enter. Once you can see the parent record on the right hand side, click on ‘Actions’ and ‘Send Email registration’
  • Please also ensure within Settings > General > Communications that this is enabled.

SMS registration

Please check the following:

  • Is the parent record showing in Users > List? - If not, please check your Rejected records Report to find why the user has not been imported.Please check you have a valid SMS number for the parent in ‘Users’ > ‘List’
  • Within Settings > General > SMS verification - is enabled?
  • Please also ensure within Settings > General > Communications that this is enabled.
